With a passion for dentistry, Dr. Michael Formenius started Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic in Sweden in 1982 spanning five dental centers and a dental laboratory across Stockholm. He expanded to the UAE in 1997, establishing multispecialty clinics along Al Wasl Road (Umm Suqeim) and Jumeirah, including a specialized pediatric center, orthodontic practice, and in-house dental laboratory. In 2011, Dr. Michael was named Dental Consultant for Oral-B Crest Middle East. Today, Dr. Michael’s operates four clinics in Dubai, delivering multidisciplinary care while serving more than 50,000 patients to date. The team encompasses General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Implantology, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Sedation Dentistry, and Dental Hygiene, supported by a network of international specialists, affiliations with Emirates Medical Association and other leading bodies, and ongoing community education programs, including a Mobile Dental Clinic bringing check-ups to thousands of Dubai schoolchildren each year.
