Founded in Dubai in 1950 by Dr. Hussain Mahboubi, it was the first contemporary dental clinic and dental laboratory in the Gulf region. The clinic emphasized high-quality treatment, hygiene, and patient wellbeing, introducing local anesthesia, permanent fillings, crowns and bridges using materials from Germany and the USA. Dr. Hussain Mahboubi was the dentist of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Today the clinics are headed by Dr. Hussain Mahboubi’s son, Dr. Bayan H. Mahboubi, an internationally reputed orthodontist who graduated from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
