Experience

Dr. Betul Rahman is an Associate Professor specializing in Periodontology at the College of Dental Medicine, University of Sharjah, UAE, with experience as Assistant Professor since 2008 and Consultant Periodontist at Munir Silwadi Dental Center in Abu Dhabi from 2001-2006.[1] She teaches undergraduate BDS students on periodontal diseases, etiology, prevention, management, and clinical skills, and since 2019, postgraduate MDS students in advanced periodontology.[1] Her research interests include periodontal diseases and their impact on systemic health, and she is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International since 2007 and editorial board member of the Journal of International Dental and Medical Research.[1]
