UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL SHARJAH

UDHS was established as part of the University of Sharjah’s College of Dental Medicine to provide high-quality dental care, education, and research. Since its opening in 2011, the hospital has grown into a Center of Excellence with multiple clinics under one roof, enabling complex dental care—from general dentistry to advanced surgical procedures—delivered by academics and supervised student clinicians. The Center emphasizes multidisciplinary, patient-centered care, uses modern electronic health records (axiUm), and operates teaching clinics to train future generations of dentists while serving the Sharjah community. The UDHS also runs a Mobile Dental Clinic to extend care to elderly and underserved populations across Sharjah, combining service, education, and outreach with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
