Prof. Dr. AB Rani Samsudin is the founding dean of USM School of Dental Sciences and currently serves as Director of the Dental Hospital and Professor of Oral Surgery at the University of Sharjah, UAE, where he established the Faculty of Dentistry after migrating in 2007. He specializes in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with over 30 years of experience, including 9 years in the UK's national health services. He remains active in research, co-authoring recent publications on biomaterial investigations.
